Terms of Service

OpenRaid runs this website. When we say "we," "us," or "our," that's us. We're offering you access to everything on this site—all the information, tools, and services—but only if you agree to follow the terms, conditions, policies, and notices laid out here. When you visit the site or use our matching services, you're using our "Service" and you're agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. That includes anything additional mentioned through links or elsewhere on the page. These apply to everyone: browsers, raiders, team leaders, people giving feedback, all of it. Take a moment to read this carefully before you go poking around. By accessing or using any part of the site, you're saying you agree to these terms. Don't agree? Then you can't use the website or services. If this is technically an offer, your acceptance is limited strictly to what's written here. Any new features or tools we add down the line are covered by these same terms. You can check the current version anytime on this page. We can update, change, or replace parts of these terms whenever we want by posting changes here. It's on you to check back periodically. Keep using the site after we post changes, and you're accepting them.

SECTION 1 - PLATFORM TERMS

By signing up for this, you're telling us you're at least the age of majority where you live. If you're the age of majority but have minor dependents, you're responsible for giving us permission for them to use the site. Don't use our services illegally or for anything we don't allow. And don't break any local laws while you're using the Service, copyright laws included. Keep malicious stuff off here. No worms, viruses, or destructive code. Break these terms or violate them in any way, and your access to the Service stops immediately.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We can refuse service to anyone, anytime, for any reason. Your content (payment info is separate) might move across networks without encryption and could change to work with different systems or devices. Payment information, though, is always encrypted when it moves. Don't reproduce, copy, sell, resell, or try to exploit any part of the Service or anything you can access through it without our written permission. The headings in this agreement are just for convenience and don't limit or affect what these terms actually say.

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We're not responsible if the information here isn't accurate, complete, or up to date. This stuff is general information only and shouldn't be your only source for decisions. If you're going to rely on what's here, you're doing it at your own risk. Some of the information on this site is historical, which by definition means it's not current. We might change things on the site whenever, but we're not obligated to keep everything updated. You're responsible for staying on top of what changes.

SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND AVAILABILITY

Our matching services could change or disappear without warning. We can modify, suspend, or shut down the Service (or parts of it) anytime without telling you first. We're not liable if we change, suspend, or discontinue anything.

SECTION 5 - SERVICES (if applicable)

Some services only exist on this website. They have limited capacity and work according to our guidelines. We try hard to show you accurate information about player profiles and what raid groups need. But we can't guarantee everything stays current. We reserve the right to limit services to certain people, areas, or regions, case by case. We can also limit how many matches we're running at once. Service descriptions and matching criteria can change anytime without notice. We can stop offering any service whenever. Any offer on this site is void where the law says it is. We don't promise that the quality of services or information will meet your expectations or that we'll fix every error.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We can refuse any request you make. We might limit or cancel matches per person, household, or request. That includes matches under the same account, using the same payment method, or sharing billing info. If we change or cancel something, we'll try to contact you at the email or phone number you gave us. We can also block requests that look like they're from resellers or bots. You need to give us current, complete, and accurate information for your account and profile. Keep your email, payment details, and other info up to date so we can process your requests and reach you. Check our guidelines for more detail.

SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

We might give you access to third-party tools that we don't run, control, or have any say in. You get these tools "as is" and "as available." No warranties, no promises, no endorsement from us. We're not responsible for anything that happens when you use them. Using these optional tools is entirely your call, and you should know and agree to the terms the third-party sets up. We might add new services and features to the website later on, including new tools. Those will be covered by these same terms.

SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Some of what's available through the Service comes from third parties. Links to third-party sites might take you somewhere we're not connected to. We don't check or vouch for their content, accuracy, or anything else. Third-party sites, products, and services aren't our responsibility, and we're not liable for what happens there. If something goes wrong with a purchase or transaction on a third-party site, that's not on us. Read through their policies carefully before you do business with them. Got a complaint about their stuff? Talk to them.

SECTION 9 - USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS

If you send us something we ask for (like raid feedback) or submit ideas, suggestions, or anything else on your own (through email, mail, or online), we can use it however we want. Edit it, copy it, publish it, translate it—all of it. We don't have to keep it private, pay you for it, or even respond to you. We can monitor, edit, or remove content we decide is unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, pornographic, or otherwise breaks someone's rights or these terms. We don't have to, but we can. Your comments can't violate anyone's rights, including copyright or privacy. They can't contain anything illegal, abusive, obscene, or any malware that could mess with the Service. Don't fake your email, pretend to be someone else, or mislead us about who you are. You're responsible for what you post. We're not.

SECTION 10 - PERSONAL INFORMATION

How we handle your personal information is covered by our Privacy Policy at openraid.gg.

SECTION 11 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Sometimes the site or Service has typos, inaccuracies, or missing information about service details, matching criteria, what's available, promotions, or technical stuff. We can fix these errors and update or cancel things if the information isn't right, without giving you a heads up first. We don't have to update anything in the Service unless the law requires it. A refresh date on the site doesn't mean everything's been updated.

SECTION 12 - PROHIBITED USES

Beyond what else is in these terms, you can't use the site or its content for anything unlawful, to get others to break the law, to violate any regulations or local rules, to infringe on our rights or anyone else's, to harass or discriminate against people based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability, to submit false information, to upload viruses or malware that could damage the Service, to collect personal information about others, to spam or scrape, for obscene purposes, or to mess with the security of the Service or any related site. We can shut down your access if you break any of these rules.

SECTION 13 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We don't promise that your use will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We don't guarantee that the Service will give you accurate or reliable results. We can remove the Service for as long as we want or shut it down anytime, with no notice. You're using the Service at your own risk. Everything we provide through it comes "as is" and "as available" with no warranties or conditions of any kind. That includes no promises about fitness for a particular purpose, quality, title, or anything else. We're not liable for any injury, loss, damage, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, replacement costs, or any other damages—direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential—whether from contract, negligence, strict liability, or anything else. This covers your use of the Service, anything you buy through it, any errors or missing content, or any loss or damage from the Service, even if we knew it might happen. Some places don't let you exclude this kind of liability, so our liability there is limited to what the law allows.

SECTION 14 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend and hold OpenRaid, our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers, and employees harmless from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) from a third party that comes from your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your violation of someone else's rights.

SECTION 15 - SEVERABILITY

If any part of these terms turns out to be unlawful or unenforceable, that part stays in effect to whatever extent the law allows. Everything else stays valid.

SECTION 16 - TERMINATION

Whatever obligations and liabilities existed before termination stay in effect after. These terms stay active until either you or we end them. You can terminate anytime by telling us you don't want to use our Services anymore or by stopping your use of the site. If we think you've broken these terms or we suspect you have, we can terminate this agreement immediately without notice. You'll still owe any amounts due through that date, and we can cut off your access.

SECTION 17 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If we don't enforce something in these terms, that doesn't mean we've waived it. These terms, along with any policies or rules we post on the site, are the whole agreement between us. They replace any previous agreements, conversations, or proposals (written or spoken), including older versions of these terms. We won't read ambiguities in these terms against whoever wrote them.

SECTION 18 - GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada.

SECTION 19 - CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

You can see the current version of these terms on this page anytime. We can update, change, or replace parts of these terms whenever we want by posting changes on the site. Check back periodically. If you keep using the site or Service after we post changes, you're accepting them.
